CORRECTIVE EXERCISE SPECIALIST

Functional Movement Screen - (FMS)

Functional Movement Screen (FMS) is a tool used by fitness and healthcare professionals to assess movement patterns and identify imbalances or limitations in functional movement. The FMS consists of a series of fundamental movement patterns that evaluate mobility, stability, and symmetry in the body. By scoring each movement based on specific criteria, the FMS helps practitioners pinpoint areas of dysfunction and develop individualized corrective exercise programs to improve movement quality and reduce the risk of injury. Through the FMS assessment, practitioners can identify movement deficiencies, asymmetries, and compensations, allowing them to address underlying issues and enhance overall movement efficiency and performance.

cORRELATION BETWEEN THE JAW AND PELVIC FLOOR

BUCCAL INTRAORAL MASSAGE

THE JAW AND THE PELVIC FLOOR ARE INTERCONNECTED THROUGH THE BODY’S MYOFASCIAL SYSTEM, WHICH LINKS MUSCLES, TISSUES, AND STRUCTURES THROUGHOUT THE BODY. TENSION OR DYSFUNCTION IN THE JAW CAN IMPACT THE BODY’S POSTURAL ALIGNMENT, MUSCLE TENSION, AND NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION IN THE PELVIC REGION. ADDRESSING ISSUES IN THE JAW, SUCH AS THROUGH BUCCAL INTRAORAL MASSAGE, CAN INDIRECTLY IMPROVE POSTURAL PELVIC MUSCLE FUNCTION AND ALLEVIATE SYMPTOMS RELATED TO PELVIC HEALTH.
